Whistle Blowing System (WBS)
In parallel with the company’s commitment to implement Good Corporate Governance, the Company has established and implemented Whistle Blowing System (WBS) starting mid of 2013. WBS is a system that is continuously developed and implemented to prevent and detect potential noncompliance which may occur, in order to create a clean working atmosphere, preventing practices of irregularities and fraud. This WBS system involves participation of all company’s element on reporting process and the disclosure.
Types of acts that could be reported through WBS include but not limited to:
- Conflict of interests
- Abuse of office/authority
- Unlawful acts (including violation to employee or leader, blackmail, drug use, immoral acts, other crimical acts)
- Violations of tax provisions, regulation on environment, labour, and others.
- Violations of the company’s standard operating procedures (SOP), particularly in the connection with the procurement of goods and services, provisions of benefits and remuneration.
The company can add or reduce the list of acts that can be reported thus will make it easier for the employee to detect types of acts that can be reported.
